If anyone, by chance, had asked me how my day at work went..i would answer as so..
It was one of those, "I don't need a better job" days. Carissa, Meg, and I spent our time photo-copying our faces and posting the prints onto the walls of Brooks Pharmacy's office. I pretty much got paid for sitting around and occasionally being productive. Might as well take advantage of the little time thats left before the new manager comes in and takes charge. You know, sometimes work is fun...but for the most part its slow-moving and boring. Its only days like these where i couldn't find the option of fitting into a new place so welcoming. However, we all know that i can't possibly live on 15-20 hours a week since there has been a dramatic decrease in working hours, not only for me, but for every brooks employee in swansea.
As far as the rest of summertime goes, there hasn't been nothin' but good times. Let em' roll.

Im happy to say that i've had a sirene weekend.
After 3 months i've finally set my self aside from having to alter my mind set for once.
Me & my bff dining on original super ruby's appetizers and then coming home to consume lots of mint chocolate chip ice cream was a total improvement. I don't think i've spent the night in my own bed on the weekend in quite some time.
I'm getting my school work done.
For monday: English portfolio, music final exam, hand in all child psych homework.
tuesday: normal classes
wednesday & thursday: no school
friday: world civ final and paper due
monday: child psych final & political science final
Peace out first year of college.
P.S.
New favorite scent.
Its summer in a bottle.

I walk through the doors not really expecting much besides my brother playing socom and my room the way i had left it, clothes everywhere.
I look on my vanity, and theres a rose in a little vase with a tiny note that reads: YOU DID IT! Love, Mom + Dad
I'm not really sure what i did that spurred this. I was all.. "You got me a flower???????"
Mom said that i've been trying really hard for school, studying late and what not, and shes proud that i called the hospital back. Long story short=previous to this event, we had a long conversation about me having a horrible self image and not having any confidence to even make a simple phone call. She really appreciates the little things. I must say, im pretty impressed.
I've been thinking about how much my mom does for me lately, and how i don't mutually show that back. I really need to get on that/ change my attitude. Shes always on my ass about college scholarships, getting my work done, staying on the ball.
The other night, i fell asleep on the floor studying. She wrapped me up in a ninja turtles blanket. I faintly opened my eyes and sort of laughed. "hey thats okay, im going to my bed now." but she followed me when i just collapsed on my bed, she covered me in my 5 comforters and got me something to drink because she knows how i always crave some moisture therapy after a nap. Still half asleep, i told her, "You're a good mom." and she laughed...left the room leaving my light on,regardless ofthe high electric bill, because im afraid of the dark.
mush mush mush, its all good.

warm feelings buzzin' about in the atmosphere. Thank you, exceptionally nice weather.
Lots of skirts, dresses, and shorts on campus today.
& getting all my work and study time done and over with is a real big weight taken off my shoulders. I'm happy to say that i've been focusing & it isn't all that bad.
also...
FYI:
i have a job interview! I put in an application weeks and weeks ago. I got an appointment Monday at 12:30 for a diet office position at Charlton. I'm nervous, ansty, and a little bit excited. Yet...I'm still a little skeptical about leaving brooks. Dave keeps giving me good schedules because he knows im on the verge of leaving.
